its kinda scary dont u think coz well the board is our world and to see it an article with Carla's exact words is kinda freaky to me they could be reading anything we say and turning it around to make us , D or sony look bad

Hayes' solo Spin suffers

A WEEK after pledging full support for singer Darren Hayes, US record company Sony has downgraded his website.

A moderator who maintained the site's message boards for Savage Garden and Darren Hayes since 1999 has been retrenched.
"After almost three years . . . Sony are unable to keep me on any longer due to cutbacks within the company," the moderator said.

"Obviously, this means big changes for myself and my family, but it also means changes to the way the board is moderated."

It also follows a Herald Sun report Sony is re-assessing Hayes after his debut solo album, Spin, flopped in the US.

Herald Sun (Australia) Kicks Up More Controversy (07.05.02) - Reporter for the Herald Sun, Nui Te Koha, seems to enjoy kicking around false rumors and enraging Darren fans all over the world. This is the same reporter who wrote the FALSE article about Columbia/Sony downgrading Darren as a priority act in North America, which prompted a quick rebuttal from the President of Columbia and Roadshow music, among others. It seems from a new article by Koha that this reporter enjoys spending time on Darren's official message board, and has printed the news that long-time moderator, Carla Murray, was recently laid-off by Sony due to cutbacks (implying that that fact supports the earlier story). The fans at DH.com are quite out of sorts about this, and I don't blame them a bit; and see this article, which quotes a post to us fans by Carla, as a huge invasion of privacy. Although it is an official site, and is visited by several different media people, none are so blatently 'out to get' Darren/Columbia/Sony as Koha. I know that I haven't been paying attention much to what's happening recently. From what I just read here, the words 'F*ck off' come to mind.

That was a personal message from Carla to the fans on the board and it had nothing to do with Darren's career. It's sad that this idiot decided to use it and make something out of nothing.
